What a buyer should know
The smaller half of a two-boat range
The 645 Voltara is NERO's 6.45 m boat, and it is best understood next to the 777 Evolution: same yard, same carbon vacuum-infusion sandwich construction, same three drivetrains, a metre and a third shorter and around 900 kg lighter. From 600 kg for a six-seat 6.45 m hull is genuinely light, and it is what lets the same 125 kW drivetrain that pushes the 777 to 45 knots do the same here on a smaller boat.
The 60 kW middle option is the one place the two boats differ mechanically: 40 kWh here against 60 kWh in the 777. So the middle Voltara trades range for weight rather than matching its bigger sister.
What the numbers do and do not say
Range is published in kilometres at a 10 km/h setting — 75, 150 and 220 km across the three drivetrains — and separately at top speed, where the fastest covers 35 km. Those are the honest pair of figures, and the gap between them is the whole story of an electric planing boat. Charging time is not published for any configuration.
No price, for any version
Every drivetrain is listed "on request". That is a legitimate position for a low-volume carbon builder, but it means this boat cannot be compared on price with anything until you have asked. Treat any figure quoted elsewhere as unverified until NERO confirms it in writing, and establish the VAT basis at the same time — the 777's published price is a net figure, so the Voltara's is likely to be quoted the same way.
