The builder publishes a 9 kWh or 18 kWh LFP pack and a motor of either 10 kW or 14 kW, but does not say which pack goes with which motor, so neither is recorded as a figure. Maximum speed is given as a band of eight to nine knots and cruising as four to five; the published maximum and the published lower cruising figure are recorded. No range, charging time or CE design category is published for this model, and its specification table lists no solar panel. Figures from the builder's model page, read 2026-10-05.
What a buyer should know
Not yet on sale
The Sigma is the entry point to the Helios range and the cheapest boat the yard has shown, but its page ends in a waiting-list form, not an order, and Helios's own disclosure to the Bulgarian financial regulator names only the Omega as being in serial production. Treat the Sigma as announced rather than available, and ask for a delivery date before planning anything around it.
What is published, and what is not
Helios gives a 9 kWh or 18 kWh pack and a motor of either 10 kW or 14 kW, without saying which pack goes with which motor, so neither is recorded here as a figure. Flat out it is quoted at eight to nine knots against four to five cruising. No range is published at any speed, and no CE design category is stated — the table prints a dash. On a boat this size that missing category matters as much as the missing range, because it is what tells you which waters it is certified for. The specification table also lists no solar panel, although the page carries the same solar paragraph as the larger models.
Who it is for, once it exists
At 500 kg it is trailerable, beach-friendly and cheap to store, which points at rental and excursion fleets, lakeside households, and yacht owners wanting a quiet tender. The price in this listing came from a marketplace rather than from Helios, which publishes none, so it is an indication only. Anyone sizing a fleet should ask for the pack-and-motor pairing, endurance at a stated speed, charging time from a domestic socket, and the design category, in writing.
Written from the builder’s published specifications and the wider market, not from testing the boat ourselves. Always confirm figures with the manufacturer before committing.
