What a buyer should know
The twin-engine mahogany launch
The Dogado-E 2020 is the twin-engine version of GardaSolar's 6.3 m mahogany electric launch, built with FAP — a single-hull boat in mahogany wood for up to 9, the more powerful of the yard's luxury electric line.
The numbers
Two PMAC wireless permanent-magnet 48-volt electric outboards give 20 kW between them, on a 20 kWh battery, with a LiFePO4 upgrade to 40 kWh. It is rated CE design category D. GardaSolar gives the top speed as 25 km/h and the autonomy as 8 hours, in km/h and hours only, so a knot figure and a range in nautical miles are left out here.
The builder
GardaSolar builds its own electric and solar boats on Lake Garda, in Italy. The Dogado-E 2020 tops its mahogany luxury line, above the single-engine 1010.
