Elvene builds solar-electric open day boats in Jakobstad, Finland — the twice-awarded Amber and the newer Amy, 6.2 and 6.5 m, with integrated walk-on solar panels that extend range at low speed. The yard, operating as Fin-Er Oy Ab in a west-coast town with a long boatbuilding tradition, pairs battery propulsion with solar on every hull; the Amber has twice been recognised at the Gustave Trouvé Awards, while the Amy combines a fibreglass hull with a 50 kW Molabo outboard drive.
